Counseling Technique

Stop it!

A friend sent me the link to this video awhile ago. It's funny, of course, because we feel this way when we are dealing with the problems of other people. And there's a certain amount of truth to it. The problem is that our own sins are so entangling! J.C. Ryle, in his book Holiness argues that the reality of sin is a powerful argument for the accuracy of the Bible. If sin was less tenacious than how the Bible describes it, we could overcome it so easily. The problem is that is a terrible foe that constantly seeks our ruin. It deceives us concerning its existence and its grip on our lives.
